Forklift Road Technician

Job Description:

As a Forklift Road Technician at BSN Machinery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of forklifts and related equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts, as well as providing on-site technical support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on forklifts and material handling equipment.

  2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with forklifts.

  3. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

  4. Respond to service calls and perform on-site repairs.

  5. Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.

  6. Communicate effectively with customers to explain service requirements and provide recommendations.

  7. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

  8. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technology.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in forklift repair is a plus.

  2. Proven experience as a forklift technician or in a similar role.

  3. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  4. Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.

  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  6. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  7. Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
